A supply chain solutions provider moved its transactions, orders and CRM data off spreadsheets and onto one Django system, with analytics refreshed every day.

What stood in the way
Every transaction was recorded in a centralised Google Sheet ledger, while order, revenue and cost data sat elsewhere, so there was no single view of how the business was performing.
Sales data lived in the CRM and was analysed by hand in spreadsheets, disconnected from the clients it described.

How we solved it
We built a transactions system in Django to replace the spreadsheet ledger. It stayed in sync with Google Sheets through bulk reads and writes while staff moved across, and we then ran the final migration.
For orders, revenue and cost, we built a daily ETL that denormalises and aggregates the data for fast analysis, feeding dashboards for company-wide and per-client analytics.
We brought the CRM's leads and deals into the same database through its API and linked them to client records, so sales and delivery could be analysed together.
